Andreas leads Phase 5’s market and customer insights team. He has developed particular expertise in performance measurement, Voice of the Customer (VoC) and Customer Experience studies for a range of B2B and B2C clients. Andreas brings world-class research methods and first-hand insight into understanding and managing your customers. When he is not on the soccer pitch teaching 4 and 5 year olds how to enjoy the beautiful game, you will find Andreas hitting the roads for a run, or scooting down a steep mountain on his alpine skis.
Michael Dolenko Partner
Michael Dolenko, MA, works in Phase 5’s Toronto office and is a sought-after moderator and survey researcher for clients in financial services, retail, technology, education and publishing. Michael and his team focus on product and service innovation, and studies that support go-to-market initiatives. He is active in the non-profit sector and is well-known gourmand who is continuously fine-tuning his BBQ smoking techniques.
Doug Church Partner
Doug Church, MBA, is a co-founder of Phase 5 Consulting Group and co-lead of the Innovation practice. He has more than 25 years of experience conducting innovation, product and go-to-market research. He brings extensive methodological expertise and strategic insight to clients. Doug is a Certified Marketing Research Professional and a member of ESOMAR. He has served on the boards of several organizations, and spoken on numerous occasions at marketing research and industry events.
Arnie Guha Partner
Widely regarded as an expert in online user groups and environments, Arnie helps his clients – financial institutions, technology companies, life sciences firms, media companies, publishers and information providers, government organizations – understand and estimate their markets, and to develop winning UX solutions and strategies that would best respond to market needs and business objectives. Arnie speaks regularly at conferences, focusing on various aspects of online user experience research, from qualitative evaluation of interfaces and task-flow analysis, to benchmarking and performance measurement.

Stephan is passionate about partnering with clients to address their business challenges and opportunities around customer centricity. He has helped leading brands achieve sustainable growth through gains in customer loyalty in all major sectors of the global economy, having worked with clients in Financial Services, Telecom and Technology, Automotive, Hospitality and Retail as well as clients in the non-profit and public sectors. Stephan has given presentations at conferences and seminars around the globe and is active in both Marketing and Customer Experience communities in Canada. Stephan holds an MBA from ESSEC, the leading French Business School.
Steve Hansen Head of Client Development
Steve Hansen, MBA, is head of client development for Phase 5, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With almost 2 decades of experience in marketing strategy, market research, and product management, Steve brings a client’s mindset and drive for actionable results to each project. He has extensive experience in capturing the view “from the outside” with a special focus on product and service innovation. Prior to joining Phase 5 in 2015, Steve lived in Beijing for six years, teaching innovation and entrepreneurship in the MBA program at Peking University’s Guanghua School of Management and working with clients on China marketing strategies and research. Christine Sorensen Vice-President
Christine Sorensen is a veteran researcher adept at both quantitative and qualitative techniques. Christine has developed strong expertise in online qualitative studies and marketing research studies for a broad range of clients. Passionate about client service, Christine has extensive experience on studies across a range of topics including brand and communications, interactive technology, customer satisfaction, advertising and communications, and product development. Christine holds an MA in Communications and Culture from York-Ryerson Universities and BA in Sociology from the University of Toronto.
Gen Lamorie-Wallace Vice-President
Splitting her time between Toronto and Ottawa, Gen has a unique view into the user experience worlds of both public and private sector organizations. Gen is a skilled interviewer and focus group moderator and is known for her relaxing and engaging manner with participants. A keen early-adopter, Gen pioneered Phase 5’s online community offerings that leverage social media platforms for experience design purposes. Gen’s particular areas of expertise include in-person and remote usability interviews, focus group and ideation session moderation, customer journey mapping, expert reviews and persona development.
Sam Fiorino Vice-President
Sam Fiorino is a Vice President at Phase 5, with more than 15 years of experience in marketing research and consulting.His experience spans multiple sectors and multiple qualitative and quantitative methods. While the majority of Sam’s time is spent designing and managing projects, he is also responsible for managing staff and resources, and contributes to both practice and business development. When he’s not on the ice or green, he is typically helping coach minor hockey or camping with his family.
